I'm overthinking this, aren't I?
Nooo, of course not. See it more like trying to figure out future plotlines. Poor, poor Spencer.
'Serenity'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I just finished watching a Life on Mars marathon. I ahem'd dvdrips of the show but will definitely be buying the set when it's released in R4. What a brilliant show. If you haven't seen it, I'd definitely recommend trying to watch from the first episode. Each episode does work as a stand-alone b/c of the individual plot but sub-plot of whether Sam is crazy or not, could be a bit confusing if the puzzle isn't followed from the start. The season finale was superb and I can't wait to see what happens with the next season.
I'm not holding much hope for the US remake being the same high quality.
Oh. OH, oh, tavella - thanks for the link. I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree on the new blue Who suit. I like it. Why Tennant's Doctor is getting a costume change after one series, I have no idea - how many years did Tom Baker go on and on with the same thing?! Unless DT and the wardrobe crew were feeling dirty after all the inquiries from squeeing fan-girls on LJ about how the brown suit's trouser's were done up.
Much as I love the 4th Doctor, David Tennant seems like he'd be much more fun to dress up, if I were working in the wardrobe department.
We're holding over a 2.
Woot!

Hm...depends on who they let handle it, I think. There are enough good American cop shows, and good American genre shows that I think it could work, maybe. There would have to be changes made, but I was skeptical about The Office when that started out, too. I'm only up to ep2 'cause I'm watching the BBCA airings (even with the unbelievably crappy reversioning...I'm just too lazy to ahem something I can let the Tivo record for me), but dayum, it's good.
the movie was supposed to start with the unversal logo but universal legal couldn't clear it with universal in time for the universal logo to be used in a universal show.... we all stood there silently and nodded.
Ha! That's fantastic. That was the first Eureka episode I've seen (hey, we just got the expanded cable package on Monday, FINALLY), and I really liked it. Will definitely be catching it again!
It would have been funny, but (alas!) too revealing, if the crop circle would have been the Universal logo.
Ok, having seen this week's Eureka, I would just like to say that I am really enjoying your input, Colin. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in. Also, having gone back and read the white font monkey talk, I now have a mental image of a chimp ripping off some lab-coat-wearing guy's arm off and beating him in the head with the severed limb.
Boy, I'm not gonna sleep well tonight, am I?
Andi, just think calming, Jane Goodall thoughts of baby chimps.
Well, that helped, Cash. A bit. Because now I'm seeing cute widdle baby chimps ripping the arms off of baby dolls and smacking those around. Much better, really. And since there are two of them sitting on Johnny Carson's desk, and he's sitting there being soothingly amused, I may be able to sleep. Thanks.
Says the woman who bemoans the lack of crops in which she can make circles.
Ha.
They have fields of stuff in Kansas, right?
That's true! There's lots of wheat and milo. Wheat would make great crop circles.
Also? The universal thing is deeply amusing to me. As is paranoia inducing monkey beam. Hey, you think that's what the current administration's been using to stay in office? Okay, not so amusing now.
