Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I wonder how Taggart knows the dog's IQ? Maybe he's just assumed it based on his experiences with the dog.
I figured it was because Taggart had caused it - that Lojack had been a subject of one of Taggart's (or someone else's) crazy schemes experiments.

I loved that too. Considering how much Colin hated the scene, I'm seriously impressed with the acting.
For some reason, it felt much more finely drawn than some of the others of the "throwing Jack and Allison together" ilk. Whether that's because it was drawn with careful brush-strokes, or very sharp cuts of a knife, it's hard to tell.

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe Lojack is the Mayor of Eureka.

I agree with Windsparrow's suggestion that Taggert caused Lojack's intelligence.

He did say "Animal testing created you."

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

He did say "Animal testing created you."

Ah! I missed that. Thanks.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I found it really interesting that Stark's emotions showed as angry when Allison left after dropping off the divorce papers. I would have expected sadness.

There was one end-of-scene moment when the sadness meter was reading fairly high. Not as wiggly as anger, but still pretty high. I thought is was that scene, but maybe it was something later?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Allison's son isn't Stark's son, right? He speaks about him like he's not. And he acted as if Callister was the closest thing he's ever had to a child.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

No, Allison's son is not Stark's son.

According to the podcast for...one of the eps, Stark is the boy's ex-stepfather, so Allison must have had him before they were married.

Ah, thanks. I haven't caught up on all the podcasts.

Fargo was assistant to Warren King but when Warren got moved to Alaska and Stark was brought in, his position changed.

As it was explained to me, Stark didn't really want someone else's assistant - and because of control issues - probably won't have an assistant. It left Fargo in limbo.

So now he's sort of unwanted and needing to prove himself. And Stark toys with the little mouse - sort of like a cat that's been "trained" not to kill small things but wants to anyway.
