I'm amused with Rodney's choice of name. I have a dear friend with a real name of Henry that chose Rodney as a name. The only Rodney I ever met, and not really his name.

I've been wondering... couldn't they set up floating gates on both sides of the Pegasus black hole/supergate connection, but far enough away that they would operate separately? Then they'd have their intergalactic bridge in three steps without having to string them throughout the intervening gulf.
