Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Aw, they all lied about Rod being annoying to make Rodney feel better. How sweet. They lurve their Mere... Rodney.

And the hug with his sister at the end got me all verklempt.

That was a sweet episode.

I've been wondering... couldn't they set up floating gates on both sides of the Pegasus black hole/supergate connection, but far enough away that they would operate separately? Then they'd have their intergalactic bridge in three steps without having to string them throughout the intervening gulf.

Our wings are not tired.

Insightful comment on SGA: Ronon still pretty.

Does the increasingly ZZ Top-esque beard work for women? His appeal's been taking a big hit for me as it grows longer.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was hoping they'd get to Letters From Pegasus.

Identifying with Rodney really isn't the most comfortable thing ever.

I like beards, so not a problem for me. I just liked the languid posture at the break table. The relaxed sprawl was pretty.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'd comment on SGA, but I think it would all come out as "eeeeeeeeee!!"

How cute is Kate Hewlett? So cute. How cute is it that Rodney immediately made sure that Sheppard wasn't hitting on her? SO CUTE.

Also, "Teyla's got the hots for one of the new Marines." "I do not!" SO UNBEARABLY CUTE.

I really enjoyed the SG-1 episode too. Whatever they do to keep the franchise alive better include Claudia Black, because she is the very definition of fabulous.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

What Dana said about SGA.

Possibly SG-1, too. Just too overwhelmed with love for all the McKay clan. And the whole Atlantis team.

I wish they could work out a damn dynamic between the SGC and SGA.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Damn, I loved SGA tonight. I love how this season is so unabashedly all about the Team Love and the theme of Family. It really is one of the show's biggest strengths.

Kate Hewlett was fantastic. And Rod! With the messy hair! And AU!Sheppard, MENSA party dude! Love!

"Teyla's got the hots for one of the new Marines."

That was a great moment. An enjoyable evening of tv. Just what a Friday night needs for the unwinding.
