Cacophony.  That's pretty.  What's it mean?

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Zoe seems less one dimensional to me than most bratty TV children, maybe because I bought the sympathetic background; child of divorce (You think it's my fault my parents divorced??) and neglected by her father. She seems to have had a pretty relaxed view of money and where it comes from--not just the identity theft, but comfort with the tech and all the clothes and such--which argues spoiled, at least a little (though she could be a canny thrifter). I also think she's somewhat like her dad. She works for me, better than at the beginning.

I'm wondering now if my problem with her isn't partially because Blink aired out of order. It would have been less ZoeTV if it been aired in the proper place.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm not sure I could talk about slash in a thread with the actor. You guys are brave.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not sure I could talk about slash in a thread with the actor. You guys are brave.

This was what I was about to say. It also weirds me out to slash a character played by a friend of a friend.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hey, I'm talking about how I find him unslashable unless he's playing an overtly gay character. Whole other vibe!

eta: Dear God, if anyone knows Christian Kane personally, never ever bring him here!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

You think it's my fault my parents divorced??

That was the first line that made me like her -- it kicked her out of "bratty plot device" mode and into being a real character in her own right.

And yeah, what Dana said.

Our wings are not tired.

Eh, to me Jack Carter is fair game. I don't think he posts here. That cute Colin guy is another matter.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think I've been at too many cons where fans asked actors how they felt about fan fiction.

DON'T ASK. You probably don't want to know. Either the reaction will be "I hate it," and that will be depressing, or the reaction will be "I think it's kind of strange, but hey," and you will feel like a freak.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If anyone starts RPFing Colin here, things will get ugly fast. It's a thing.

I have so less than no compunction about slashing his character(s).

Matt, if I remember my Couplings right, #4 aired right before the cancellation, or kinda after, and it was about Patrick's quest for the right car. It was the first original script that aired, and I quite liked it. For a sitcom.

It's probably the first time his character was as unaware as the English one, since it hinged on his lack of ability to judge other's perceptions of him.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

She has a pinkie and she's not afraid to use it.
