'Soul Purpose'

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

If anyone starts RPFing Colin here, things will get ugly fast.

She has a pinkie and she's not afraid to use it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just figured out what RPF is and it makes me kind of queasy.

She has a pinkie and she's not afraid to use it.

Two. A pinkie and a back-up.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Ooh, Cashmere, that's a punch in the gut. I agree on the skeeviness.

No one do that to Colin! We like him! He comes and talks to us!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Does Plei still get grandfathered in if she pairs him with Kissenger?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

She gets very funny looks whenever she pairs anyone with Kissinger, and she knows it!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I just figured out what RPF is and it makes me kind of queasy.

Well, I've seen some Bush the Elder/Gorbachev slash that was highly amusing (ok, it was a silly side to some Spike-fic) but yes, in general RPF is of the squick.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Colin gets a pass from my Don't Discuss Fanfic/Slash With The Creators guideline on account of not only being ita's friend, but also for participating here as a fellow member of the community -- so it's more like talking to a fellow writer, in spirit, for me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

By the way, I'm definitely not saying that no one is allowed to mention fanfic. Just that I still have that gut-level oogy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

See, even this LJ Eureka slash community has relatively little traffic.

Just read on John Rogers' blog that three Eureka eps are in iTunes top 10 downloaded shows.

Aw. In discussion-timely news, I've just seen my first Eureka fanfic on lj - a gen crossover with SGA in that Rodney is a scientist working in Eureka. And the commenters love Fargo, it seems.
