Ditto.
I'm crushed.
Well, since the world will receive her book with a hearty "whatever, I'm dying to read Allyson's book", I'm hoping you can still type in your crushed state. Or, y'know, bounce back.

As the book is meant to be a resource guide, it includes many how-to's on some of these subjects as well as website links.
Not at all similar, Allyson.
And I just have to say that all of those "lie" drabbles are killer. Gutwrenching.
The difference between the two books is that I can't wait to read yours, Allyson, and I could not possibly care less about hers.
Allyson, I don't see how your book could be described as a "how to" guide in the least. It's got more meat and depth to it than that.
There's a short author blurb on that site here: [link] Not very informative.
Also, it looks like she's self-publishing this book; not that that's always a bad thing, but it can be an Ominous Sign.

Well, whatever. Her book may be great but you could also write a great book. And your audience may overlap or you may have two completely separate audiences.
Our Buffistas are better, and we can publicise it better.
Personally? She may be a sweetheart, but I aint planning on kissing Jane.
Oh, and also? Anything that's being printed on paper that includes website links? Goofy.
Deep breaths. I was more worried about the fact that the subject matter is very similar.
I'm personally rather puzzled by the phrase "exclusive cast interviews". I'd want a lot of convincing that she got all these people to agree to only talk to her.
