This one's about bananas...more philosophic than porny, though.
There is always one banana that doesn’t get eaten. Always. No matter how many or few we buy, there’s usually one. Sometimes mom makes her fake-it banana bread but even without a recipe you need more than one lone banana, usually three, though she’s mixed it with two before. It starts out like the others but maybe something bruised it. It has weird spots or maybe it smells overwhelmingly. But somehow it’s hard to toss, because this was the week we were gonna eat all of them, and we don’t want to let that go, even if we like the taste of slightly green bananas the best. Sometimes in life, I think I’m the lone banana.
