Swouncing

deb, back-sent.

And remembering the problems my e-mail did last time we tried anything like this, could you let me know if you got it?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Nilly, nothing in email. Damn it. Katerina, got your email; Bev, will send in a bit, because computer containing hard drive containing fiction is turned off, while I kill myself cleaning that #$%$## carpet.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Deb, I can beta as well.

Oof, and this time I forwarded one to my other address, and I got the mail from me jsut fine, but the person who is actually supposed to get it - well, didn't. And I don't need to get an e-mail from me, I already know what I've written!

Sigh. Insent from another address. Sorry for the bother.

Got it, Nilly. Off to read.

Dana, Bev, will send as soon as the other computer is up. My fiction is all kept on the hard drive on the dining room machine, which is off the network at the moment as Nic does downloads on the laptop.

Aaaand, you all rock. Clowns!

edit: Woot! Nilly, you caught a missing word, in the description of placement of the clowns' faces above the circus tent in the poster: it should be:

"And faces, each one somehow hovering just behind and over each tent."

I'd omitted the "each". Just a skosh difference in meaning.

Clowns! Apocalypse!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I can beta as well, Deb, if you want someone else. I like the name "Mr. CoughNSneeze."

I'm hoping to have this thing done by the weekend, so I can send it off. Assuming I can find thirty seconds in which to breathe, that is...

The status is NOT quo.

Deb, would be honored to beta, but am on overload this week. Sounds like you already have an excellent group of readers lined up in any case. Maybe next time?

I love that you're writing about apocalyptic clowns.

Also...if I get really brave I may be asking for some betas myself in the next couple of weeks.

Hey. New board.

You know, the more I read the phrase "four clowns of the apocalypse" the more ridiculously funny it gets. =)

ETA: Also, I will clearly buy the book.

Kristin, this joint packs some heavy-duty good beta readers; the acknowledgement pages of my series is laden with Buffista thanks.

I think my clown story is going to be unremittingly dark. I'm in the mood for dark.
