It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I'll keep an eye on it, and let you know shortly, love.

Swouncing

I'm off for the evening, but could you post here when you get the mail? There are also problems with incoming e-mail, so I think this is the safest way. Sorry for the bother.

Nilly, it's now an hour later; not a word.

Always Anti-fascist!

Thanks, everyone for your kind thoughts. I am waiting for her to call me back now...I hate that. But then, I hate to wait for my fingernails to dry, so definite YMMV.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm behind in my congratuations. Yay for the acceptance of Susan's magazine piece. Teppy, I really liked your fencing piece and wished it could be longer. Erika, I'm glad you got good feedback on your piece. I really think you've got a future as an essayist to a broad audience, because you have such a distinctive voice.

Now I need to get those queries off.

Heh...that's one way to describe it. Kessie, I'm still early in my beta...you're very good at setting up dramatic tension, and I've mentioned that if I tried to write in German I'd write like Tonto, right?(Wait, do you know who Tonto is?) I'm going through, changing to a more colloquial English and all, but if you have any questions, I'd suggest getting one of our crack Buffista grammarians on it, because I kind of write by feel and sound, so I'm not sure I could tell you "Why?" mostly. And "Just 'cause" is not overly constructive.(Although some things are idioms and probably don't make much more sense than that, to be honest.) Like in Spanish, my second language, if you are not careful when you say "it's hot" you'll say "I'm horny."

thanks Erika.. I think i´ll first take a look on what you did and if i happen to have questions I will do that what you said. Hm i must say i´m pretty bad with idioms, dont know very many so there are probably a lot of mistakes in it. As i said I was really in need of a Beta reader ! And well i dont know who Tonto is but i think i can kinda guess. ;) Btw I read it over yesterday and thought i still need to do something to the chaps 4-6 ( storywise) ... maybe you can tell me ,if you are that far already, if you think the same !

Tonto= The Lone Ranger's sidekick. He basically only said stuff like "We go. Now." And stuff like that. Because I think he wasn't supposed to speak very good English, being as how he was the stereotype of an Indian. They fought crime, though.

(Because lyrics are also writing)

The mystery masked man was smart
He got himself a Tonto
'Cause Tonto did the dirty work for free
But Tonto he was smarter
And one day said kemo sabe
Kiss my ass I bought a boat
I'm going out to sea
