Babe, I've got a few of them - I'm apparently strange among the Buffista crowd, in that I'm genuinely social and gregarious. I very much enjoy interacting with The Humans - I enjoy feeding them even more.
But I'm only married to you and Kat Perez (and Nic, of course).
Believe it or not, I like people(stop laughing, I do. I'm just an acquired taste for some of them.) The rest wonder if I ever think about anything pleasant.
amy: Hey there do you still need my help with reading or do you have enough people already? Let me know cause I havent received anthing yet. ;) Might be because my email is acting up sometimes , though.
Oh and for the whiny chick lit girl , all i can say is yikes! I mean i must say I´m not really experienced with writing and publishing but i would be damn lucky if I would get an option for my book at all. Of course its my dream to live from writing someday, but to be honest I dont expect it to happen. She should be lucky that she gets published her "thing" at all and not whine about it. And when she wants recognition she should write something else then chick lit , imo. Well ok enough of that! Greetings to you all!
I'm deeply embarrassed, but I keep reading "chick lit" as "clit lit" . Guess we know where my brain is.
Erika: I doubt that there is such a big difference is it? *goes and hides before her friend who actually likes chick lit*
Btw question, was my summary so bad or is it just that nobody has time to be my beta?
No doubt there are some similarities. Sometimes I like it too. Been disappointed in the quality lately.
Kessie, I've got some time. E-mail my profile, and I'll take a look. And it's your first time so I'll be gentle. And I only know how to say "Hi, how are you?" "Open the door." and "shit" in German so you are ahead of me, despite my relatives coming from Bavaria.(And nothing is so satisfying as a muttered "Scheisse" maybe it's a collective unconscious thing.)
Kessie, I've had zero - and I do mean zero - time to do anything. We've just added "painting two of the three rooms of our kitchen this weekend" to the Hell Brew of Death. I forget that painting would require taking down everything on the damned walls, and then washing them.
btdt, well actually sidewalk superintended, Deb. It sucked and blew.
Our house is a Victorian - the kitchen's main room has a 10-foot ceiling, the sunporch has an 11-foot ceiling. The two rooms area to be painted is 900 square feet.
I've been scrubbing the damned walls for days, unscrewing things, taking pictures down, knife racks down, pot racks down. Nic needs to go get some spackle and some wood filler. We discovered a crack in the upper kitchen window (it only looks out onto the sunporch, so not a problem for weather reasons), but yeesh. More stress.
This is why I had to sit down and write eight pages yesterday: I had no time to work all week. Writers group tonight.
I'm impressed that you could do that. But I did get a page written today(tiny, minor, victory lap)
