Thanks, Deena.

Also, health-vibes, don't-catch-your-sibling's-disease-vibes, and some-peace-and-quiet-vibes to you.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Erika, you are so funny. Thank you.

Nilly, the vibes are very much appreciated!

I've finished the dishes. In a minute I'm going to make brownies, to entertain the big sister, and then while they're cooking I'm going to clean my living room, which is a massive disaster area and then we're all going to get a nice hot chocolate brownie reward.

eta: Nilly, thank you. That you wanted to read it makes me feel good. If you never get to it, that will be enough.

Deena? I will definitely get to it, I just want to do it when things here are a little less crazy, so that I can pay the amount of attention I want to. And I very much want to.

[Edited to add: I wouldn't have asked for the file unless I intended to read it, you know]

Always Anti-fascist!

People always say that when I'm not trying...sometimes I post big elaborate bits of COMM bait, but y'all are on to my tricks.

Goodness, I never meant to imply you wouldn't, really! I only meant that I appreciate you wanting to. That really did mean an awful lot to me. I know you'll get to it, and I'll really appreciate your comments, and I'll get the blasted thing completely written some day, and if the wind is right, I'll get it published and send you a signed copy.

Yes. That's my plan.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

You're not the only one who hasn't responded yet, so please don't let it bother you.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(also with the shameful head-hanging. Soon, Deena, truly, I promise.)

Oh no! I TOLD you I shouldn't post today!

When you get it done is just the right time. If you never get it done, I didn't need it that badly to begin with. I'll love you even if you use it to line the birdcage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now you're going to make them all go out and buy birds out of guilt.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Wait, wait - Deena! am I supposed to be reading something? What in hell did I miss? I have AmyLiz's and I am about to command my internet wife to write the gross evil thing - Teppy is brilliance, and said it best, and go write the thing, already - but what do I not have of Deena's?

Oh, some nice news: just heard that Dogtown Review wants to publish my short story, "Edge". Pleased about that.

I need, I really need, to finish this chapter section. God knows when, though.
