erika -- I love this piece. I love the way you're finally staking a claim on your body here. Lots of sharp observations and contrasts, beautifully honest. The "my internal scars are still ugly" (not a precise quote, I bet) was a big "Yes!" moment. So here I am with another "Submit it!" for you.

I was thinking Mouth when I wrote it, Tep. But hey, people's response has been so enthusiastic, I'll get nuts and try to make a few dollars, while I'm at it Because Mouth is like crime, it doesn't pay. I would still be honored to be in it, though, as kind of a cred thing. But I've got a credit thing that it'd be nice to work on, too. But they are most definitely on this list.
