Now tagless for your comfort.

TRUUUUDY TRUUUUDY TRUUUUDY.

It bears repeating. That's an awesome story.

What is even happening?

Because YouTube is just the berries...

Shaun Cassidy, Hey Deenie: [link]

Shaun Cassidy, That's Rock N Roll (& part of Da Doo Ron Ron [with The Crystals]): [link]

That's Rock N Roll is missing the very first line (I was 16, and sick of school).

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Matt, I think the mojito is one of the drinks that places do either very well or very bad. And the overall quality of the place doesn't matter! I've had mojitos in three places in Madison. The ones I thought would have good ones didn't and the one I wasn't expecting much from, had one of the better ones (an Ethiopian restaurant, who woulda thunk it?)

What is even happening?

And a whole bunch of (poor, poor) Andy Gibb, for good measure: [link]

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Thanks Cindy!

One of the great "tragedies" of my childhood was when the Hartford Civic Center roof collapsed--I didn't care if anyone could have been hurt, my only concern was the fate of my Shaun Cassidy concert tickets! He played in New Haven instead. At the concert, one of my friends felt so stupid just sitting there when everyone else was going crazy, that she stood up and started screaming for no reason.

Because books.

Oh, I loved Andy Gibb and Shaun Cassidy, too. And David Cassidy. And Peter Frampton after I saw Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band five times.

I was quite the preteen slut.

I actually wish I still had some of those Tiger Beats. That would make an awesome afternoon of nostalgia.

Trudy, I can't believe you saw Mark Hamill and then kissed Leif Garrett. You should totally get a T-shirt with iron-on letters that says so.

OMG Shaun Cassidy was so pretty in the "Hey, Deenie" video. I mean, I remember him from the day, but I don't think I had the concpet of pretty boys down. Little more growed up in the other one.

I've had a weird, retroactive crush on Andy Gibb for years. (ETA: See, I'm watching the "Words" video, and he's just so... swear to god, he means every single word. And it's possible he's (er, was) singing directly. to. me.)

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Clearly I need Trudy to teach me how to go out. I NEVER have that much fun on my birthday.

Trudy should make a tv show... how about "The Behinds of the Music"! Or, "I Macked On The Seventies"!

To date myself, I crushed on Joey from NKOTB. ::hangs head in shame::
