Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I told them if it had been Shaun Cassidy they'd have had a fight on their hands.

Seriously! I crushed so hard on Shaun when I was like 7. My parents took me to Atlanta to see him in concert and they still make fun of me for yelling "Hey Deenie!" over and over. What can I say? It was my favorite!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Actually, I think I started drinking vodka tonics because of Hec. So obviously I'm kind of a derivative drinker. Damn.

Whiskey? Whiskey & water? You're in a wonderful place for the whiskey.

I had whiskey and water the other night, and I still don't like whiskey. It's a sad thing, I know. You'd think it would suit me, but somehow no.

Greyhounds are a nice changeup for when you still want to be drinking vodka (vodka & grapefruit juice). Added bonus - lack of scurvy!

Ooh, me likey. I'll try this the next time I'm out.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Leif Garrett? What happened to Mark Hamill?

On Friday I saw Mark Hammill. On Saturday I groped Leif Garrett.

It was my own personal episode of "So That Was The Seventies!"

My drink of choice, when I can get it, is cheap red wine and cherry juice.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Erika! Did you know Lehane's got a new book out? It's a collection of short stories.

For someone who's not much of a girlie-girl, I do like the girlie drinks. Fuzzy navels, daqueries, pina coladas, rum and coke, and so on...If I can't taste the alcohol, it's my kind of drink.

What is even happening?

Seriously! I crushed so hard on Shaun when I was like 7. My parents took me to Atlanta to see him in concert and they still make fun of me for yelling "Hey Deenie!" over and over. What can I say? It was my favorite!

Shaun Cassidy and Andy Gibb were my own, my preciouses. I never actually liked Leif Garrett. He kind of gave me the creeps. I think I was too young, or to non-sexual at that point, to see the appeal. But I had the Tiger Beats and the Teen Beats, and I'm still a whole frigging lot of impressed by our Trudy.

I told Scott, "A friend of mine from the Buffistas went out with her sisters to celebrate her birthday. She got tipsy and made out with Leif Garrett."

He was all impressed in a very, "No! Way!" sort of way.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My drinks are a cosmo, a fruit or soda rum drink, or a margarita, if I am somewhere where they make really margaritas. Wine at home or if someone else is drinking it. Mike's hard lemonade or Smirnoff Ice, if everyone else is having beer. That list makes it sound like I drink way more than I do. I usually only have one or two drinks a week.

I meant to post this earlier: Go, Trudy!
