Do you remember the names of the restaurants you went to? Did you like the food?
Yeah, we went to Picolo one night, and Porto Bella (? -- right across the street) the other. They were both good. We were going to go to the seafood place along there, but it was way too pricy!
I've only ever had one mouthful of Red Bull. It tastes and smells like children's cough syrup. Blergh. I've never really found a drink that makes me hyper. I do drink many and loads of sugary drinks though. Sometimes three or four bottles of Lucozade a day. So maybe I'm immune or something at this point. Although white wine makes me very very talky for a while and then very very sleepy soon after.
I haven't been to either of those places. Anthony's (also on Shrewsbury St) has good Italian food and I like the Flying Rhino which is on Shrewsbury Street but isn't Italian food. If you need to come back here for business again, e-mail me and I can make you a list of good places to go.
I should have thought of that beforehand! Ah well.
Now I prefer the more sedate vodka tonic.
You sure took to them when I made them for you in SF.
Soccer (or to Jars, football) fans may remember that NYC's team is the Red Bulls, newly renamed this season (yes, after being bought by the folks that own the drink company). In their first game of the season against D.C. United, the D.C. player that scored the first goal went to the bench, took a swig of the drink, and spit it out.
He (Alecko Eskandarian by name) was fined by the league for inappropriate celebrating.
Gimlet! And tequila shots. Gimlets are more for when I don't want to seem like an alcoholic ho.
Now I prefer the more sedate vodka tonic. I suspect I need a secondary drink, though.
Whiskey? Whiskey & water? You're in a wonderful place for the whiskey.
Greyhounds are a nice changeup for when you still want to be drinking vodka (vodka & grapefruit juice). Added bonus - lack of scurvy!

Thank you for being so courteous, but in Ireland, football is Gaelic football and football is called soccer. But people can call soccer football too. It's a touch confusing.

Vodka tonic made with mandarin or citron vodka? That's my club drink of choice.
