Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

What is even happening?

Substitute "Algebra" for "gym" and count me in. Dude deserves to have the deadly ghost children from some Japanese horror movie pop out of the TV in his classroom and terrorize him as poetic justice.

Oh, if we can switch it up, I have a eighth grade honors Algebra II teacher I'll add to the list. If this were the Buffyverse, I'd be having dreams where I could tell her, "You know, I never got the chance to tell you how glad I was you were eaten by a snake."

Because books.

Interrupting this sickie conversation to ask the hivemind:

What's the swankiest brand of vodka out there right now?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Belvedere?

Not sure why I think of that as extra-fancy. Must be the Klassy name?

Because books.

It must be swanky. I've never even hear of it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know for fact, but I had Ciroc vodka the other day, and felt quite swanky. It's made from grapes.

My sister wants to link to a video on her LJ page. Sure, this is perfect for YouTube, but it's a personal video and she doesn't want it all out there like YouTube does. My first thought was Yahoo Briefcase, but you have to have premium access to share files. Any other ideas? I'd rather not let her have space on any of my servers--not because I'm mean, just because of the veil of anonymity I try and maintain in LJland.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just got a call from a friend - she had to have one of her cats put to sleep.

Masha was a good and energetic kitty who as a kitten loved to play fetch for hours on end. She was 15 years old and had a good life. I lived with Masha (and her owner) for about four years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I am crying at my desk now....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

What got me was that this guy, in addition to using his drill sergeant tactics to frighten classes of well-behaved 8th grade honor students into terrified submission, actually broke a student's hand slamming his pointer stick down on a desk while bellowing for silence AND KEPT HIS JOB.

If it'd happened to me, either my mom would have owned that school, or he would have been nicknamed "Lefty" from that point onward.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

AmyLiz, Slate did a review of vodkas: [link]

Grey Goose, Belvedere, and Ketel One are the most popular high-end vodkas in general bar usage.

What is even happening?

Stolichnaya is pretty swanky, isn't it?
