Woo hoo Brenda!
Natter 46: The FIGHTIN' 46
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
YAY Brenda.
I want it to be 10:00 NOW.
What's going on at 10 pm, Lee?
I want it to be 10:00 NOW
I wish it were still 10:00. I need to go to bed.
What's going on at 10 pm, Lee?
PR, which seems like it was good.
You and me both, megan.
PR, which seems like it was good.
Oh yeah, it is Wednesday. I've only ever managed to catch an episode here and there.
::sigh:: So the day end process crashed because someone from our PA facility logged into the system while it was running. (Which apparently happens at least once a week, always someone from PA. Probably the same person.) Why users aren't locked out of the system during day end, I don't know, but it means I may end up stuck here for awhile after I'm normally supposed to go home because there are things that can't be done until after day end finishes and I have to wait for the vendor to dial-in, clear the errors and restart the damn thing, and then wait for it to finish running to do said things. Oy.
I just sent out a WTF, "Why aren't these morons locked out?!??!?" e-mail (though in kinder terms) to the department. Lord only knows if anything will actually be done about it.
After tonight's RS: SSA and Project Runway, I think I might have to give up reality shows completely. It can't be healthy to yell at the TV so much .
PR: I'm irritated with the bringing the designers back bullshit. I'm irritated with the stupid "you must use all the fabric you buy" bullshit. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit was the refrain of the night.
I will say that, while I didn't like Vincent's designs and thought he was a few fruit loops short of a bowl, I was touched that, when he found out his model had been in an accident, the first thing he said was, "How is she?"
Oh, yay, I can watch PR when I get home!
Congratulations, Brenda. This is wonderful news!
So I think I've figured out my coffee problem. You might not recall that I have a coffee problem, but I do, and the crux of the problem is that I don't have any. The lovely coffee mug amyth gave me broke the second day I was here (the same day my stuff got stolen, actually, making it really a banner day), and we have a one-cup filter thing at home, but I don't want to mooch off of my roommate's coffee stash all the time. Also, on the weekends, one cup is just not enough. But then I remembered the French Press! Oh, bless the french people. They gave us stinky cheese, croissants, and easy manual coffeemakers!
Since today I get paid, I will be stopping by the Starbucks (because, okay, it's near my house and there are no other coffeehouses I know of in the area that sell stuff to make coffee as opposed to, you know, just coffee; just want to throw that defense out there) on my way home and picking up a french press and some ground coffee and maybe even another travel mug, if I'm feeling kicky. And then I'm going to buy something from Lush because it's right across the street. Thereby proving Plei's theory that she hasn't published yet that nice soap and nice coffee make everything better.
Thereby proving Plei's theory that she hasn't published yet that nice soap and nice coffee make everything better.I think that's SCIENCE FACT already, SA.
Happy coffee to you.
