Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, that sounds lovely, Jess!

I just realized that I'm in for another six weeks of nobody being around to do the work I want them to do. Three regional conferences and a national board meeting in the middle. Bah!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Barbara Walters claims dog talked to her

NEW YORK - Has Barbara Walters lost it?

Some of her co-hosts on “The View” may think so after her claim today about her Havanese dog Cha-Cha.

Walters says when she told Cha-Cha she loved her, Cha-Cha said “I love you” back.

You can imagine the reaction from her co-hosts. Walters said it looked like Joy Behar was about to “throw up.”

What is even happening?

Jesse, here are some more shots of those "fat" models: [link]

(Are Aussie sizes 8-12 smaller than US sizes 8-12, because I'm thinking maybe one of those women is a size 8, and the other two look like size 6).

They've got to be, Cindy. Maybe they're the same as UK sizes? None of those women is anything close to a size 12. Unless my body is WAY smaller than it looks in the mirror.

Exactly what I was thinking (about my own size 12), unless these only happen to be of the size 8s. But even then, only the one on the left looks like she might be a size 8.
