(Are Aussie sizes 8-12 smaller than US sizes 8-12, because I'm thinking maybe one of those women is a size 8, and the other two look like size 6).

They've got to be, Cindy. Maybe they're the same as UK sizes? None of those women is anything close to a size 12. Unless my body is WAY smaller than it looks in the mirror.

Exactly what I was thinking (about my own size 12), unless these only happen to be of the size 8s. But even then, only the one on the left looks like she might be a size 8.

I actually think that some of the models pictured in Cindy's link might be some of the non-"fat" models, or at least it's possible to read the article that way.
