What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, how are things going with the family?

Hey, Fred. Things are going pretty smoothly lately, actually. It's fucking weird.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Also, the Audrey Hepburn commercial freaked me out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For the record, I subscribe to Oxford commas. My manager does not, but she can never find them all at the same time. Also, she doesn't like commas positioned for pacing purposes.

Hrrmph. I'm not wrong. I'm just different.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am so looking forward to the development of AI. Because then we can have AI make all our comma decisions for us.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I'm preemtively taking comp time for the fact that I'll be at work all weekend. I'm just taking it while sitting here.

Ah. If grouporsection is 1, it's a group. If 2, it's a section. I had it backwards. This has been the cause of much confusion and effort on my part over the last five minutes. (Not counting the portions of those five minutes I've spent here.)

No! I need my freedom to choose!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Do I want a 14.4 inch laptop screen or a 15.4?

The money difference isn't much, but the weight is.

Thoughts?

If you plan to spend a lot of time carrying your laptop about, I'd say get the smaller one. The weight difference becomes more significant the longer you have to carry the thing.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Depends on how much you're actually going to carry the laptop around on a daily basis. A lot, I'd go with the 14.4 inch. Just have it to be flexible at home, go with the 15.4 inch.

ETA: inevitable X-post.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I really, really hope I never have to see the Audrey Hepburn commercial.
