Pattern Recognition? Bless Gibson - he got it right. IMNSHO.
That's it! Huh. I guess I didn't expect anyone to know it--it was one of the random ones I picked up in a used bookstore, and I loved it.

the pork chop I will be eating in an hour:

Also his description of jetlag, which is exactly what I thought about it before I even knew I thought that about it.

The other part of it I loved, that I keep coming back to as I make a place for myself in Ireland, is his description of the Isles (though more specifically the UK) as a mirror-world. There's so much truth in that for me.

It was mentioned in the Metafilter comments too, but for some reason I didn't place it at the same book I'd read a few months ago.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

That's it! Huh. I guess I didn't expect anyone to know it--it was one of the random ones I picked up in a used bookstore, and I loved it.

It's pretty famous in its genre. (Now I'm trying to recall if I have a copy floating around or not.)

Hey, chica--insent last night.

Also, didja see Jackson Publik's lj?
