I can handle the Oz Full Monty. I mean, not 'handle' handle.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that is a good scene! Terrible singing, sweet scene.

Saw it in the theater.

I have seen that movie many, many times. I own it!

Ha! Excellent. Of course, it has Denis Leary, which helps some. Bits of that movie pop into my head from time to time, like "a very bijoux room," and "it's great crack."

I assume by 'crack' you don't mean incredibly hard drugs.

ETA: I am SO going to bed now.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So I didn't go to bed. Or rather I did but decided to watch Deadwood and Wyatt and Bullock! The slashfic would just write itself if I was still that kind of girl.

Rrg. Trying to figure out which aspects of teaching I find "most gratifying" that aren't painfully obvious, like "getting students to make connections" or "watching understanding dawn" or "seeing students get caught up in things." I'm also quite fond of the "being done before rush hour" thing and the "wielding vast amounts of power over the very lives of my fellow human beings mwahahaha" thing, but I suppose those won't help my case.

Oh! Romantic as all get out!

The scene where Willow and Tara reconcile, and Tara has this whole long speech about awkward reconciliation, and ends with "Can we just skip all that and get straight to the kissing?"

Just about everything from True Romance. Also Tim and Daisy from The Office.

What is even happening?

One of the most romantic scenes I know is the bit in Anne of Avonlea where Gilbert begins to ask her to marry him, and she puts him off, and he says, "Please say yes," and his voice just breaks a little.
In the barn after Diana's engagement party?
Oh, sigh. OTP 4eva!
Just about everything from True Romance. Also Tim and Daisy from The Office.
I haven't seen all of the UK series, Jars. Did you mean Dawn, or is Daisy another character? Jim and Pam from the US version are also adorable.

Can someone point me where I can find the Oz/Willow "freeze frame" conversation/quote? I would love you forever.

meara: [link]

Willow: I wish they'd hurry.

Oz: So, do you guys steal weapons from the Army a lot?

Willow: Well, we don't have cable, so we have to make our own fun.

Oz: I get you.

Willow: Do you wanna make out with me?

Oz: What?

Willow: Forget it. I'm sorry. Well, do you?

Oz: Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

Oz: Oh, I'm not gonna kiss you.

Willow: What? But freeze frame!

Oz: Well, to the casual observer, it would appear that you're trying to make your friend Xander jealous or even the score or something. And that's on the empty side. See, in my fantasy when I'm kissing you, you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.
