Am I crazy or does the following paragraph sound like a real slam?

I guess the marking spray is different from the defense spray, because it's only obnoxious for about five minutes and so not worth going outside to possibly encourage a full-out defense.

I know it's a skunk and not a particularly pungent cat, because Hubby looked out the window and said, "Oh, look, another black cat. This one has a white stripe." Me (distracted): "Well, our black cats are inside." "They wouldn't like this black cat with its bushy tail." "What cat--oh, the skunk."

That crash just gets weirder and weirder. They were saying this morning that they just changed the taxi-ing route to the runways last week, too.

Special message to msbelle: A hearty congrats on the adoption. I am so happy for you! You are going to be a great mom—and I can't wait to see your brother as an uncle. You asked for a tape player a few days back. Is this for you? Are you interested in mixed tapes? Because I'm going through mine as I set up my itunes playlists. I would happily send a package to you instead of tossing them.
