hip deep in pie

Roast chicken with garlic and rosemary, with potatoes and garlic roasted in the same pan.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jarlsberg and dry salami on egg-and-onion matzohs. I have been home sickly all day, so I am rewarding myself with ice cream for dessert. Yum.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Amy's frozen palak paneer.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

How is that, bon?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had pita chips and hummus for dinner last night.

I facilitated that!

Am hoping for perhaps a burrito tonight.

Shouldn't be an issue in your nabe. Try Can-Cun on Mission.

Tonight, we have leftovers: black bean soup or potato leek soup, both of which I either made or mostly made. Also we have asparagus, which I will steam.

David, your dinners all sounded delicious. Did you all go out? Is JZ off bedrest?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I had a sandwich made with organic white bread (toasted), fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes (one picked this afternoon) marinated in balsalmic vinegar and olive oil, and fresh basil.

It was The Yum.

No, I made dinner(s). Emmett's repetoire is extremely limited, and JZ is vegetarian. So there are only about four things I can cook that all of us will eat. It's tiresome. I miss being able to make a big pot of homemade soup that could last for a week.

Is JZ off bedrest?

Nope. She's on until her Sept. 6th appt at least. But Emmett starts school on Wednesday, so I'll be able to roam more freely than I've done in the last week and a half while he's been done with camp but not started with school.

That sounds like The Yum!

It was The Yum.

Aha!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yesterday, Cashmere's life was, like, "Uh-oh, pop quiz."

? ? ?

See, I *knew* that Cindy would get and appreciate my reference (and then shower me with much love for it).

t edit Uh, those question marks are in place of my attempt to quote Cindy's hearts to me.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Okay, so someone is playing their music quite loud and I have very thin walls (like, I'm a little uncomfortable talking on the phone thin). On the other hand? It's Annie Lenox, so... forgiven. At least, if they stop with the stopping and restarting.
