Bless your heart Theodosia. Yum Yum as lucky to have had you and you her.
Yesterday, while I was so worried about Bartleby, I gave serious thought to that moment...the one where I will have to let him go. Nearly did me in. I admire your grace and the care you obviously give your furry friends.
Aw, I'm sorry, Theo.
I currently don't want to do anything. I've spent today until now doing nothing. I need to eat something. Being really fussy about that. My apartment needs a bomb dropped on it, I just don't want to deal. Bleh. I guess I'll make something protein like and get out of the house.
so sorry for your loss, Theodosia.
I just spent a ridiculous amount of time waiting around at Michael's. Annoying.
Then I walked by the soon-to-be new supermarket in my neighborhood. First of all, I cannot believe how long it is taking to get that thing built and open! Second, I was hoping it would be a yuppie mart, but apparently it's going to be a latino market. Which is cool, too, but I can already get that stuff at my little market! Ah well.
Finally, wearing my old glasses is making me insane. I don't think my prescription changed that much, but I feel like I can barely see out of these! Also, I hate the way they look.
Why did I waste my good mood on the work week, I ask you.
Theo, I'm sorry about Yum Yum.
All I've managed to do today is get to the grocery.
Right now I'm watching TWSoP on ESPN and saw a bit about Phil Lak and Jennifer Tilly and I have to say, DAMN, girl looks gooooood. She's such a sweetheart and is so excited about playing cards. I adore the two of them together.

So sorry, Theodosia. Breath and Shadow got an e-mail from a wingnut about the excessive profanity in the most recent issue. I guess it's true what they say: Work a job long enough and you will get a chance to make your mark. Although I think "Stamped" only had...four expletives and one was totally a Sipowicz homage...what excessive profanity? And one was hell, which I hardly even count. That person better not get cable; he'll die. Motherfucker.
August has been exceptionally hard on the Buffistas. Soon it will be over; may the rest of the year go easy on us. ~ma to everyone that needs it - too many.
