That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Magic Eraser! I don't know really, but I bet it would take care of the ink.

I will second this. I have used Magic Eraser on casserole dishes and it cleans it beautifully. I would test on the bottom of the box to make sure, but I bet it will work.

I loves my Magic Eraser.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

OK, I need people who are deeper into fandom to give an opinion of Psych at the con.

I don't think I'm any deeper than you are, but I didn't think it was particularly in-jokey. Probably my fav episode of the series, however.

At the end I was like, hey, what are they trying to pull, everyone's hair is different! But it was just a scene to tell us it's coming back in January, so duh.

P.S. I like Colin in Eureka but of shows that premiered this summer I think Psych is superior. Great chemistry b/w the leads and honestly Dule Hill is the bomb.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I didn't think it was in-jokey, I was wondering if the fact that main characters were into it redeemed how dorky most of the people there were.

Anyway, today I might be cranky. I woke up at ass o'clock for no apparent reason, and then my glasses broke! I'm going to take them back to the store and see what they can do, which is super-annoying. That was NOT on my agenda for the day. Actually, it might work better with my agenda for tomorrow. Hmm. Must check store hours.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

One of the brighter sides of having our 16yo cat, Yum Yum euthanized (after a long, brave struggle with failing kidneys) yesterday: getting to clean up and rearrange my study, which pretty much has been her refuge for the past two years. Just couldn't bring myself to stress her more by upsetting her chosen environment....

hip deep in pie

Aw Theo, I'm sorry about Yum Yum.

And Kathy, my thoughts are with you and your mother.

The remaining felines are pitching in by being extra cuddly and/or annoying. My bereavement, such as it is, is dwarfed by the major sorrows of some of my friends at the moment, so I've got it in emotional perspective, anyway.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry for your loss, Theodosia. Lucky Yum Yum that you didn't mess with her territory earlier. You are a considerate mommy.

So it is unlikely that Ernesto will visit my coast, and yet that is all the news. I guess it is better than the bitter political ads and debates. Considering the volume of ads the candidates here are showing for primary elections I clearly won't be able to watch tv live during October. Unless they spend all their money now, but unlikely.

What is even happening?

Theo, I'm sorry about Yum Yum.

Compassionately intolerant

Bless your heart Theodosia. Yum Yum as lucky to have had you and you her.

Yesterday, while I was so worried about Bartleby, I gave serious thought to that moment...the one where I will have to let him go. Nearly did me in. I admire your grace and the care you obviously give your furry friends.
