I'm sorry, Kathy. That's so horrible for your poor Mom.
We've had an action packed day. Well, except Jacqueline who had a day packed with indolence. But Emmett and I went off and played tennis for about an hour and a half this morning. Then we walked about a mile to get his hair cut. After that we hit the magic shop where he got a tiny cap gun and two packs of caps. Back to the house, and we just played catch for an hour. Now I think we're locked in for the evening.
Emmett's tennis has gotten very good. Not enough to beat me yet, but it's getting closer. He looks very athletic and right when he's attacking a passing shot with a two-handed backhand.
Kathy, my sympathies to your mom, your family, and Wayne's family, (and many deasshatting vibes to Wayne's son). I'm so sorry for your mom's loss.
So, I just saw that Dunkin Donuts "karatAAAYYYY!" ad, and it reminds me that I saw a kid in a whole karate outfit the other day (with parent and sibling) and it was all I could do not to scream that at him. I did resist, though.
{{{Kathy and Kathy's mom}}} I'm so sorry for your loss.
Aimee, I had Winter Silks bookmarked on my old computer and I was just trying to remember the name of the website today. I'm glad you posted that.
There are few weeks of work I'd rather have end than this one.
You and me both, babe.
I did resist, though.
I'm a little disappointed in you, Jesse.
I do try to maintain some decorum.
OK, I need people who are deeper into fandom to give an opinion of Psych at the con.
{{Kathy and Mom}} I'm so sorry for your loss.
A question for the hivemind . . .
I found a small, genuine Wedgewood box at the thrift store, a gorgeous piece of their pale blue ware with the delicate white ornamentation. It's that lovely porous porcelain, and I'd like to know how I can clean it. There's dirt from handling on it, plus someone wrote their name on the bottom in ballpoint ink. What to do?
Magic Eraser! I don't know really, but I bet it would take care of the ink.
