the school is half a block from my house. It is really well rated, if a bit overcrowded.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That is great about Mac. Can't wait for him to meet his mother.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's a pity I don't watch Project Runway. Karen Janx from season 2 is coming into town to do a benefit for Habitat for Humanity on September 9. She's going to help build an all-women built house here. I just got an invite from a friend that works at HfH. I should probably go to that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

the school is half a block from my house. It is really well rated, if a bit overcrowded.

That is awesome. I am so pro-neighborhood school.

I can't really picture Kara Janx with a hammer. Maybe she'll make the curtains??

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oooh, I'm jealous, but also very pleased for you and Mac.

Now tagless for your comfort.

mac will not have to be tested for school enrollment. YAY! full language assistance integration into regular kindergarten classes. YAY! YAY!

That's excellent news!

Just read my invite--there's a fashion show fundraiser and everything. Mmmm....

edit

She's mostly there for the fundraising, ita. I don't think she'll do much building. It's part of a larger program called Women Build--helping women learn home building and maintenance skills.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

YAY mac! That's wonderful news!

Do you know when he's coming, msbelle?

And do you need anything for him? Toys, clothes, etc?

What is even happening?

Cashmere, you should go, anyhow. You get such a lift when you're involved in something you believe in.

Great news about your son, msbelle! I'm all about neighborhood schools. Have you had any more word on when you can expext mac to come home?
