Sean, how's S doing?

I'm here.
Need coffee.
Where is it?
On the counter, sumi. You might want to make a fresh pot, though. That's been sitting there for hours.
She's doing.... okay. She needs pretty close monitoring, and there's some lingering effects causing her pain, but she's more or less okay. I have to watch her for certain things, to make sure she stays that way, and we've started several important processess to get the long-term solutions going.
at work, where else. still working on the problem client from yesterday. still hating it. did manage almost 7 hours of sleep though.
Wondering why I've never had a relationship with a server.
I know why *I* didn't. Because if they got that familiar, I'd get all irrationally paranoid and not go back. At least I think so. I've adjusted to the discomfort of the 7-11 guys knowing me by name and car.
I need to remember that if I take a decongestant at night for mild discomfort, I need to take it earlier. All muzzy headed this morning.
I like when convenience store guys know what I smoke, because then we don't have to talk AT ALL!
But they do talk! And ask me shit! And they are all nice and friendly and give me free lighters and sometimes don't charge me for my ginger ale! They aren't at all creepy, I'm just a freak.
Seriously, I'm way more of a freak than you, because I really don't ever go there. I'm very pleasant and smiley, but almost never say more than hi and thanks.
I think some of it is regional. I can't speak to NYC (except its stereotype) but Baltimore is very southern on the whole aggressive friendly spectrum. Whereas the country I was raised in is on the near silent friendly end of the scale.
