Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Salmon is one of the few seafoods I actually like. Don't think I've ever had it smoked, though.

Happy birthday, Bon!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like salmon roe (had some nice squishy roe last night--I've just realised that I have sushi at least once a week. I'm not sure when I became that person) and, like, seared steaks, and salmon sushi.

Just...the salt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't dislike smoked salmon. I don't think. But I threw out most of the last pack I bought. Way too salt.

Was it actual lox? Lox is salt-cured. Smoked salmon is now often called Nova lox.

FYI.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Lox is supposed to be salty! That is why you put it on plain things, like bagels.

(Not whitey-flavor bagels like blueberry.)

When I worked at the bagel shop, there was someone who actually ordered cream cheese and lox on a chocolate chip bagel with some regularity. I just tried not to think about it.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

In a very nebulous way. I have no money now, so it is hard to think of moving, but I just love the thought of Alaska

If there's anything I can do to make this less nebulous, Sophia, let me know.

If Sophia moves to Alaska we must F2F there -- wouldn't that be fun? Okay, pricey.

Or, you know, even if she doesn't move here!

So far, it's notable for criminally wasting its lead actors, especially Gale Harold. I plan to give it another episode, but it better become a lot less predictable.

Yeah. It showed some promise, but not a lot.

I did enjoy envisioning Brian Kinney as the FBI agent, though.

That was the best part!! I've just been watching QaF on DVD recently, so Brian is fresh on my mind. I think that may be why the pained look GH gave from time to time looked so incongruous.

The container just said smoked salmon. But it's hardly like I've never had the stuff before. This particular incarnation, however, tasted to me of nothing other than salt, and that's a bit disappointing.

It's possible my taste buds are shifting their appreciation (I do seem to be liking sweet less and peppers more, within reason). Or just that I got some salty-assed smoked salmon, which is Occamish to me.

For me, I am so used to hard smoked salmon, I can hardly taste the smoke on lox. It just tastes like raw fish to me, which I'm kind of meh about.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Brian Kinney is just a fun person to imagine in many situations! (no not that way). I read a fanfic where he was hired by Wolfram and Hart for publicity (I think) and it was fuh-nee. Also the one where he decided to run for office. Hee!
