And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

the post was linked to in Gawker.

And Punkass Blog, and Pandagon, and probably Metafilter -- she probably qualifies as internet-famous by now, even if by next week nobody will remember who she is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So she's just some random blogger who made a stupid post this one time.

You read her blog and didn't think any other posts were stupid?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, I didn't bother to look at other posts. My point was that she hadn't been noticed until now.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just hope she doesn't make as much money as SaveKaryn.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Allyson, you know the book "Who are you people?". I just heard the author in an interview. Sounds like a perfect person to blurb your book.

I keep cycling through shame and pride on the book thing. Today I am in a shame.

Oh, I just sometimes feel that it's terrible writing, or I come off as a defensive locker-person, or that the subject matter is too kooky for anyone to care about, and I've written about things I was ashamed about to begin with, so it just piles up occasionally. And then I hope the editor and my agent forget the thing ever happened so I won't have to deal with it.

And then I get excited about it again. Just cycles of pride and shame.
