Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Also, email coming to you. And to you Jilli, if you want.

Yes. I don't know what it might be about, but I'd love email from you.

Or maybe Clovis wants you to believe that tinfoil hats won't protect you, so you won't even bother to try.

Clovis is amused by the notion of tinfoil hats. Of course, I think that's because he's been training his zombie army with candy, and tinfoil hats would just be a larger version of candy wrappers.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's pictures, Jilli, since I don't trust myself to put together a webpage any time soon.

So the tinfoil hat brigade is just going to look like big Hershey's Kisses with legs? How tempting.

Pretty much, yeah. Which might explain why I keep unexpectedly running out of tinfoil at home ...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the appearance of emaciated weakness to large predators.

I think she's more the appearance of a toothpick for the zebras.

if she gets out alive she'll just ruin some poor wee critter's life by bringing it back as her latest living handbag.

Her pets already bite her. I'm okay with all that.

I guess I could shop in Beverly Hills, but that feels weird.

Why, ita?

I have a shopping aversion at the best of times, and Beverly Hills sets it off something awful.

They just thought that he was expressing his concern and his kinship with the Berliners in their adversity (or in the adversity of their pastries).

Gwyneth Paltrow is a rich white faux-Brit. I am African? Not a cheer-inducing testimonial of anything.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Lillian would make such a perfect Kewpie doll: [link] [link]

All she'd need was to have her hair sticking straight up and little blue wings. I suppose some concessions would have to be made in terms of the Kewpie's perpetually naked state.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Burrell, such cutie heads!

Now I know what people mean about boys! He understands "No!" as well as his sister did at this age, but when we told her "No" she obeyed. He gives me a rakish smile and runs off!

Would that that were just a boy thing...

What is even happening?

In our house, it was a second child thing. Ben was particularly obedient. Julia lived for thwarting us (still does). Chris is Mr. Mellow. He chooses to be good, because it suits him, not out of any grand respect for us.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My experience with my nephews and my cousins, is that it was a second child thing too.
