Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

hey ita, you around?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm not goal-oriented so much as I just lost the linear.

I don't know how much linear there was to follow, really.

By which I mean, don't let me impose my linearity on your perfectly reasonable tangent or whatever.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup. Loved the PR. Bradley was entertaining, but his outfit in addition to not being characteristic, was poorly made. See ya'. Michael's outfit was amazing. His model looked just gorgeous. In hotpants. And it was evocative of his inspiration, and modern and sexy. And Uli continued to work wonders with prints. I was so surprised that Robert couldn't pull off Jackie! He should have stuck with his original fabric & design.

That handshake thing is just weird. Although I bet you I'd be vulnerable. I am very easily distractable. Most of my world is interiority anyway, so if your handshake is weird, I'm likely to just stay in there, thinking vaguely odd thoughts about you. Wonder how it would work for Navajo folks, whose handshake is completely different from the traditional Western one?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Eek, hope no one is traveling today. Three hour security lines at O'Hare, all UK - US flights cancelled. Yikes. And in typical reactive fashion, if you are traveling, no liquids allowed. Up to and including chapstick. Basically nothing even moist.

Hope it eases quickly. I'm supposed to be flying to the UK a week on Saturday with a year-old baby. Not sure how I'm supposed to feed her or keep her watered in the current situation.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Baby formula and prescription medicines are exempt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, Fiona, I really hope things are back to normal by then. At least they'll have beverages available at the airport/on the plane, I'm sure.

That's something, but don't they think bad guys could just put their bad stuff in formula containers??

Swouncing

a year-old baby

Exactly one year old today, too!

[Edited because you can't write two sentences mixed into one and expect them to make any sort of sense. So I had to pick one.]
