Fashion question: What are the period-appropriate shoes for a shirtwaist (scroll down) dress? Pumps? I'm essentially wearing the blue one on the far right. Every time I clip my Blackberry to my belt I snicker.

You can't go wrong with pumps, though I imagine a strappy sandal would also work, in the summer.

Pumps with a rounded toe, peep toe are good-- a t-stap if you want to go overboard.
