Good thought toward the Zmayhem family. I've been thinking about y'all bunches.
Congratulations Robin!
I hate not being around here pretty much at all, but still loving work.
Going to Vegas tomorrow morning for the first time. Any suggestions on cheapish things to do (I really don't gamble). We're staying at the Ven..Venit...whatever the place is with the V and the gondolas. We plan on spending one day just lounging by the pool.
Poor Scola.
Feel better soon, bunk.
Tom, I'm glad you're home. Rest and feel better.
Oh, Tom, I'm so sorry about the pain and ER visit. Especially by yourself! {{gentle hugs}}
Congratulations ROBIN and DH! Woot!
And JZ, you take care and rest and let Hecubus and others look out for you and the Halloweenie.
ita's right: way too much excitement for Buffistas this weekend.
Myself, I'm dogsitting at the sib's house and thinking about a party I have to go to. What shall I bring, what shall I bring?
What shall I bring, what shall I bring?
Of all the things I've ever taken to a party, ice has been the biggest hit (Though that might be because I'm usually late, and it's needed by the time I get there).
All right everybody, I am declaring a moratorium on any more Buffistas having to go into the hospital this weekend. Health-ma to JZ, the Halloweenie, and Tom.
Happy Birthday and congratualtions to Robin!
Belated Happy Birthday to Fred Pete!

My favorite thing to do in Vegas is people watch and wander. I love the fountains. I could move into the Bellagio it is so purty inside and out.
Yum. I just made tasty potatoes for the family dinner. It has been nice this last few weeks being near my mother and sister. We eat together a huge percentage of the time. I made these potatoes: [link]
One more week in the mountains then back to Florida.
sigh
Ooh, I love the Venetian! For non-gambling, you really can spend a long time wandering around the casinos looking at the craziness. Especially Bellagio, Venetian, Paris, New York New York. There's a lot of shopping at Caesar's. Also many ridiculous free shows to look at.
Congratulations Robin! That's wonderful news!

The Conservatory at the Bellagio has a special exhibit right now. They recreated a train trip across the country. All the buildings and things are made from plants. It's supposed to be nifty. (And free.)
If you don't mind spending a few bucks, they also have a new Ansel Adams exhibition at their Gallery of Fine Art.

It's kind of cool, if weird.
