I like your family, Jars.
Yeah, you should meet the rest of them before you go making wild and crazy statements like that. I left my country to get away from them for a while.
'Heart Of Gold'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Whew, what a day! It's my birthday, but my gift to myself was...work. But it's cool, since I have the wonderful feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction, to go along with my aching feet and exhaustion. And my girlfriends are taking me to dinner -- my fave Indian restaurant. Butter chicken, here I come! Esp. since I didn't manage lunch.
I am 34 today. Damn, does that seem utterly imFUCKINGpossible!
Happy Birthday, Erin!
JZ, I hope the bed rest does indeed end when August does.
Happy Birthday, Erin!
sumi, right there with ya on the wondering if we really need students...
Good News: The candidate that none of us particularly cared for, but to whom an offer was made turned us down. A candidate that we liked better has tentatively accepted (pending a written offer). YAY! We've been this position open for over a year, and another one open since the beginning of summer, and we're hoping that one will get filled in the next couple of weeks. (What will I do with all my free time when we're fully staffed?)

Waste time with MEEEEEE!
Do universities REALLY need students?
I haven't stopped asking myself this since Freshman Move-In Day. Which, admittedly, was yesterday, but.
HIPPO BIRDIES ERIN!!!!!!
Waste time with MEEEEEE!
I have a feeling that by the time I have time to waste with you, you and I will need to work on a book.
There are hippos in Erin's birdbath, pass it on.
Happy b-day, Erin.
