Happy Birthday, Erin!
sumi, right there with ya on the wondering if we really need students...
Good News: The candidate that none of us particularly cared for, but to whom an offer was made turned us down. A candidate that we liked better has tentatively accepted (pending a written offer). YAY! We've been this position open for over a year, and another one open since the beginning of summer, and we're hoping that one will get filled in the next couple of weeks. (What will I do with all my free time when we're fully staffed?)
Do universities REALLY need students?
I haven't stopped asking myself this since Freshman Move-In Day. Which, admittedly, was yesterday, but.
Waste time with MEEEEEE!
I have a feeling that by the time I have time to waste with you, you and I will need to work on a book.
There are hippos in Erin's birdbath, pass it on.
Happy b-day, Erin.

Oh, this news is made of awesome.
Happy birthday, Erin, you wee little spring chicken, you!
Oh, and when I got home, there were PREZZIES in my apartment!!! Apparently, my mom and sister had come up to KC for the day, and since my sis has a key, snuck in and left me gifts!
I walked in and was all "Did I leave bags on the couch? Hey, there's a bow on one! !!!!!!!"
ION, I had an AWFUL realistic dream last night, all about my father's death. My father is alive and well, but I am a total daddy's girl, and it was realistic, and the grief I felt in it was just terrible. Ugh.
Happy birthday, Erin!!
Also, I feel like a real showrunner. It is craziness.
Our move-in day is tomorrow. . . just. can't. wait.
Sparky1 - that's excellent. A fully staffed office. . . I can only dream of what that's like.
Happy Birthday erin!!
