Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
and I don't even know what could be forcibly smacked right the hell out of them.
I was thinking of what could be smacked into them. Or against them.
Ouch, Cass. Hope the drugs work.
Thank you! The drugs might have started to work or I am starting to not care. Either way? Good drugs.
I am hoping to parlay them into interesting dreams soon. I could go for some interesting dreams tonight.
I was thinking of what could be smacked into them. Or against them.
You know, as long as there's smacking...
I was having interesting dreams not twenty minutes ago, but then something woke me up. Stupid something.
Stupid something. Tell it to make you warm milk and hum a lullaby until you drop back to sleep.
Time for me to shut things down, clean things up and stumble aimlessly to bed. In the morning, I fetch me a billytea. In the hours between, I let the meds and upcoming rest work their magicks so that I am human when faced with the dear Aussie.
I was having interesting dreams not twenty minutes ago, but then something woke me up. Stupid something.
Yeah, this was me at 5:00 am, except the stupid something was a raging baby.
so that I am human when faced with the dear Aussie.
If you can't manage human, try to at least manage marsupial.
My day continues to be stupid. Someone has been having a problem with remembering to flush the toilet in the ladies' room. We posted a sign in there last week that said "PLEASE FLUSH." Problem seemed to be solved, but the cleaners took down the sign last night and today? Lack of flushing again. WTF?
Also, one of my cow-orkers seems congenitally incapable of answering even the simplest question, and MS Word keeps trying to correct "NATO" to "nacho."
Raq, craziness all around!
Go Sean with the crazy cooking skills! We all knew you had it in you!
I seem to be feeling a little better this morning. I'm hoping it sticks, 'cause I actually have a very busy day. Toto, on the other hand, isn't doing so well. I'm gonna try to watch him for a few days and see if it gets better, but I have a feeling we may have a visit to the vet in our future.
Poptarts:
Remember yesterday when I said that I was just contacted by one of the sellers I bought a textbook from on half.com? I sent her an e-mail saying it was completely inappropriate that it took her that long to let me know the book was no longer available. This was her response:
I am sorry for the inconvenience. I should have contacted you earlier, and not that I feel the need to defend myself, but I will just let you know that sometimes buying all textbooks used online often poses a risk. My grandmother was in the hospital since August 7 and I was not at the computer for the duration. Im sorry for inconvenience, again, and I hope you find the book.
In my original e-mail I said that I would not give her negative feedback, but wanted her to know the frustration she caused me. Now I feel like giving her negative feedback and reporting her. There is a vacation setting JUST FOR THIS REASON. Grrrrr! This type of person is just the reason why I have never bought textbooks this way before. Some people feel no sense of responsibility.
Go Sean with the mad cooking skillz!
{{Raq}} Good grief. I can't imagine having to deal with that level of stupidity.
Have fun with the billytea, Cass!
makes out with Tom Scola
Glad you are feeling better vw. Poor Toto.
A little ~ma for a co-worker's doggy. Remington found cheeze-its by the edge of the lake and being a normal dog scarfed them down. Unfortunately one of them had a fish hook inserted because some kid was using them as bait. He had endoscopic thing done with no success, then a little explorative surgery with no success. It seems to be logged in the wall of his esophagus and they don't like to cut there unless it gets worse. Poor Remmy. Poor Remmy's dad who is watching him every second. He'll probably come to work with him today so we can all watch. He's a big happy lab. He seems unaware, but x-ray says hook in esaphagus.
billytea and I are up because I'm taking him to the CalTrain station. Portland next on the whirlwind tour.
Go Sean with the kitchen mastery! Well done, sir.
Oh, that poor dog!
Raq,the exchange rate story made me a little sick. The spouse of a Congressional rep doesn't know about exchange rates?!?
Maybe you should let MS Word change NATO to nacho. "We've replaced several politcal and diplomatic institutions with snack foods. Let's see if anyone will notice."
Oh, Laura! That's awful! Poor puppy! Toto and I are sending lots of ~ma and love.
