On of my dissertation supervisors was finally in, and I've just spent the whole afternoon going over material with her. I feel so much better about it all now it's amazing. She did manage to pass on the message from my main supervisor that I could have stopped the work I'm doing a month ago, but it's a little late in the day for that.

Pretty dress, vw. I have been staring into my closet in the hopes that something in the cocktail category (qualifier: that I want to wear, since I don't want to spend) will appear for a wedding I have in September.
We spent the weekend in Point Reyes Station with friends hiking, flying kites and playing many, many games of Rummikub.
Today is the first full day of classes, and we have someone here interviewing for a job. Busy day!

Thanks for the wishes of health. Hopefully this cold will pass quickly as I need to finish up everything with my old apartment by Friday. I have cleaners scheduled to come on Thursday so the last of the trash needs to be out by then and I need to patch small holes in the walls and slap a coat of paint on the place.
