[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'll give points for nudging the current trend, but feel compelled to note that Rio was making out with people in-thread long ago.

But it's the "In conclusion" that makes it art.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I just got called an Evil Betty Boop.

Not sure how I feel about that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How's JZ?

Bored. Restless. Reading a book a day.

But it's the "In conclusion" that makes it art.

Art or catchphrase? Hmmm. Rio's making out had the virtue of being spontaneous and slightly outrageous. Sort of a wet, sexy valediction.

ABI BIRTHDAY!!!

OK, I am a copycat, what? It was genius.

Thanks for the yays...I honestly have been more focused on what's going on with other people than worried about myself, but since lack of cancer means lack of radical surgery, it's good.

I'd like to play that organ.

I met a woman today named Calliope Vagena.

I'm guessing thats the kind of thing you have to accept early and run with.

Also, I missed all the drama, but Im glad to hear you're okay, Raq, or, y'know, will be shortly.

Also also want to send yays! and punctuation to everyone else who's had drama. I'm still catching up. And will be forever.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, Debet!

The funny thing about Sophie is that she doesn't like to be petted.

There is a neurological disorder I have heard about where a cat may become so agitated when being touched along its spine, it becomes agressive. IIRC it happens most frequently among cats of Siamese or other oriental ancestry. I have noticed my Harvey sometimes shrinks from a touch on his back - he doesn't get agressive, but does move away. Harvey is part Siamese. At those times, it seems ok to him to pet him on his sides. Does this sound at all like what Sophie is doing?

I just like tongue-touching.

Frankly, who doesn't?

IC, LMO.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Happy birthday Debetesse! I hope it's splendiferous. I've been to Carbondale, I think. Colorado is a very pretty state.

Erin, I'm so sorry for your friends' loss. I hope that they are able to draw together and comfort one another.

I was supposed to go to a baby funeral once, but babysat for the parents and their family instead, since they had toddlers who just didn't need to be there.

{{Bev}}

Gris, I'm sorry about the girl and, Cindy, glad you brought up the typing. It was too funny to pass up.

{{Sean and S}} glad to hear things are better. I hope they continue to improve beyond all reasonable expectation. Perfect health would be nice.

{{Bev}} love to you.

Glad to hear JZ is doing well, besides the boredom. I'd send her something, but things are kinda boring around here, too, and I know the apartment is small. Good thing vibes and love don't take up too much room.

I've been sorting toys today, working a bit on a project, trying to figure out how to make the budget fit the needs. It's been hectic.

I think we need another day of posting good things. We haven't done that for a while.

Good things: We have a house, and I'm getting to plan gardens and colors, and furniture arrangements. I have finally gotten an even keel and have more energy and less pain than I have had in a couple of years. I'm starting to do more art again, tangible rather than electronic.

Best thing right now, last night after I put Aidan to bed and walked out of the room, he called after me, "Night night! I love you Mommy!"

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Good things: I'm going to see Throwing Muses on Saturday night with GF and good friends. I talked to my niece on the phone last night and she squealed, "Toti! Toti!" and another name for me, "Neenee!" like a wee mad thing. GF and I are going to London soon for 10 days. I don't have any school until the end of September and I got approved for a parking permit at UCLA. Woot!
