I think we were more like four.
That makes perfect sense. That's about the time I stuck a pussy-willow up my nose and had to have surgery to get it out.
Ah, kids. Makes me want to have about 20.
'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Still recovering from the sleepover?
I *thought* I stuck a bean (from the "Don't Spill the Beans" game up my nose). But I hadn't. This was confirmed by medical professionals.

Yup! Love those kids. Really, I do. But, I'm glad I can send them home.
The baby conversations here and in Natter are giving me strong missing my nephews pangs. Not that those ever quite disappear. Why are plane tickets to Dallas so expensive?
I killed the thread. Sorry! That wasn't my intention. I've been reading my child psychology book all day and thinking about babies and such. Just thinking in type. Please ignore.
sj, that you are missing your nephews is not something I'm going to ignore. {{sj}}
And tickets to Dallas are expensive, on this side of the country, too. We'll be going at the end of Sept or beginning of October and it's going to cost more than our flight to NYC. I'm just happy one of them is kinda inexpensive. (Where "inexpensive" = under $300 before taxes)
I would settle for under $300. I have decided that I NEED to go out there sometime at the end of October and the beginning of November. I want to be there to see the kids dressed up for Halloween and T's birthday is November first. I'll be going alone, because Teacup Guy won't be able to get time off with the new job. I don't have any restrictions on what days I can leave/return, because I can always post school stuff from a computer there. I still can't find anything not in the $400+ range.
I get about $350 for flights from Logan to DFW. Which is about what it costs to fly from SFO to DFW. Feh. I wish my DH and his family could figure out when we actually need to be there so all of this wasn't just speculation.
Ok. I know this is nuts, but I am SO excited right now. I think I just found a company in North America where I can get my favorite Quilting magazine. It's an Australian magazine, and when my parents tried to order it for me for my birthday a couple of years ago, it was gonna be $300 a year (because of shipping costs). Needless to say, I didn't get it. But, I might be able to now! Woot!
I would much rather fly out of Providence than Boston. So much less hassle with traffic and such.
