Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Sorry, Cass. Not ignoring you, just slacking:

Sean, I hope things turn out right for S. How are you doing with all of this stress?

Thanks. Me? I'm dealing with it.... better. For loose values of "better".

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

(Because, um, we already inhaled the MsScribe stuff, and need to wait for the next big kerfuffle to fuff.)

Snerk. And yeah. Bless fandom_wank and journalfen for condensing all the craxy so we don't have to search too hard for our hubris fixes.

{{{{Sean}}}}

Em, can't say I blame you. I'd probably be working more in theater if I lived in the hot bit, but that'd mean a) hot and b) needing a car.

lisah, I'm sorry about the work sitch. Here's hoping they see the light.

Don't believe him, Emily. It's hot all the, time, except at night, when it gets chilly, which you're totally not prepared for. He's just been there long enough to forget about "temperate climates"

Bah! For at least half the year, we sleep under a pile of like ten quilts. For the rest of the time, it may be hot, but it doesn't feel anywhere near as hot as anyplace else I've gone to in the summer. And that's not even including Texas in summer, which I've also done.

Sean, I'm glad to read S is feeling a bit better. I hope she gets well, soon.

Thanks Cindy. Me too. And stays well.

Mostly lurking...

My stupid DSL keeps blanking out. It works fine for a couple days, then it's a pain in the ass for a day. I'm not pleased. I've called and yelled at Verizon, but it doesn't seem to be doing any good. Maybe I need to threaten to go to Comcast.

Dear god do I loathe Comcast. I miss Cox Communications like whoa.

The same thing has been happening here with our DSL, VW. Except it's only ever for a few minutes or so at a time, but it's been at least once a day for about the last week.
