My stupid DSL keeps blanking out. It works fine for a couple days, then it's a pain in the ass for a day. I'm not pleased. I've called and yelled at Verizon, but it doesn't seem to be doing any good. Maybe I need to threaten to go to Comcast.

Dear god do I loathe Comcast. I miss Cox Communications like whoa.

I said NOT! NOT ignoring you!

The same thing has been happening here with our DSL, VW. Except it's only ever for a few minutes or so at a time, but it's been at least once a day for about the last week.

Here, Cass. Have some pizza.

My moving boxes and packing paper are all gone! YAY for Freecycle!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're having pizza tonight. Teacup Guy just went to go get it. I was going to have him pick it up on the way home but his stupid work decided to block all non work e-mails starting today. ION, someone called about that position he applied for today, but because he couldn't check his e-mails from work, he has to wait and call her tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.

Punishingly Intricate

his stupid work decided to block all non work e-mails starting today

things like this make me feel bad for complaining about annoying things at my work. I have many digits crossed for him (and for my friend/bandmate who had a great interview today that hopefully will get him out of his totally soul destroying retail management job).

Hey. New board.

His latest advice is to buy a laptop instead of buying a new desktop and/or new monitor.

I advise this as well. I have not missed my desktop at all.

I am still working. Blah. Tomorrow is my last day at this summer position and I need to get the project I'm working on to the brink of completion tonight, so I can finish it all up by the end of the day tomorrow. Otherwise, I might need to come in some next week, and I'm TIRED of programming.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm not interested in a desktop ever again. After using DH's work laptop, that's going to be our next computer.
