Ok. Prolly not strep then. I woke up this morning with one side of my throat hurting. Not the searing, swallowing glass-like pain I remember from strep, and no fever. I think the glad on that side might be swollen, but I can't tell.
gargle with listerine. The antiseptic helps with the germs and the carbonation soothes the throat.

oh, and use the nasty original flavor. I know, but it works. everytime I feel a tingle I'm at it with the listerine. I HATE sore throats.
Maybe I should get my tonsils out.It hurt like whoa after the surgery and was a hell of a recovery for nearly a month but I haven't had strep in over a decade now. I also don't know if my post-op experience was unusual either.

I'm flying to Cairo and thence to Bangkok in 5 days. Presently Heathrow is in utter chaos and flights are being cancelled right, left and centre.
