Saffron: You just had a better hand of cards this time. Mal: It ain't a hand of cards. It's called a life.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

oh, and use the nasty original flavor. I know, but it works. everytime I feel a tingle I'm at it with the listerine. I HATE sore throats.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Maybe I should get my tonsils out.
It hurt like whoa after the surgery and was a hell of a recovery for nearly a month but I haven't had strep in over a decade now. I also don't know if my post-op experience was unusual either.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You would get ice cream, or so television leads me to believe. Go for it!

Librarian Warlord

Lots of health ~ma to S and Sean.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Sean & S}} Quick healing~ma.

And, continued ~ma and hugs and such for Bev and Calli.

I am wearing a nifty new top today. I like it.

And, I have iced coffee which I also like.

That is all.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

IT BLINKS!!! It says on the brim, "If the tiara fits, wear it." I might have to get Empress embroidered on the back. And get a matching shirt. And new shoes.

Wow.

I have the shoes! I am wearing pink high-top sneakers with rhinestones on them Right Now, aifg.

In less fun news, the US/UK Really Great Approach To Foreign Policy of cheering on the bombing of Lebanon seems to be bearing fruit. 21 people arrested today in connection with a terrorist plot to blow up civilian planes flying from Heathrow to the US.

Fantastic.

I'm flying to Cairo and thence to Bangkok in 5 days. Presently Heathrow is in utter chaos and flights are being cancelled right, left and centre.

Fanfuckingtastic. Yeah. Because increased incidence of terrorist attacks? Wow. Totally couldn't have seen that coming as a result of this. No way. Well, you know, unless you had a frigging brain.

I cannot become Canadian too soon. ijs.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Fay, when I heard that news this morning, you were the first person I thought of, because I couldn't remember how soon you were leaving England for Parts Yonder. Five days, you say? Ack.

ION, I have never quite woken up today, and I'm beginning to think that I was a little stupid in the timing of taking an Ambien within a couple hours of drinking beer and tequila.

I slept really well, though....

Processing times for permanent residence for people applying at the Canadian High Commission in London are taking 21-51 months. So your statement is correct! ;-)

Compassionately intolerant

Maybe I should get my tonsils out.

I'm in the hurts like whoa corner...had mine out at 19 (eons ago)...and it was definitely the right decision.

Fay. I'm so with you, both on the political fury and the logistical angst. My lawyer client is coming back from an unnamed Middle Eastern country and is stuck somewhere in central Europe. We may not see him again until next week. I was so relieved that he was on the way...now more worry.

I'll bet.

The CNN International woman is bouncing and jittering like she's done way too much blow. I had to look away from the screen to be able to hear her wtihout going into seizures.
