Now tagless for your comfort.

I had a weekend of that and it drove me craxy. Chock full of restlessness with just a leetle bit of boredom.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And the more bored and restless she gets, the more tempting the computer across the room will become. Or at least, it would for me and all other sane mortals who don't enjoy freaky willpower tests.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{JZ}} Three weeks will be restless-making. Hec, if there's anything she needs/wants, let us know, 'kay?

Punishingly Intricate

but don't forget that this time off does NOT count against her 12 weeks leave AFTER the baby is born

My best friend spent most of her almost 3 weeks of bedrest before the twins were born on the phone with her HR department trying to work out what the time off was and how she'd be getting paid and etc. I don't recommend that! She wasn't on totally strict no getting up at all bedrest either but had to spend most of the day not just reclined but on reclining on her left side. That got old quickly.

But in the end healthy babies and healthy best friend so it was totally worth it!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Seriously, a laptop is a life saver. I spent several weeks on bedrest, and I'd have gone insane without one.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

H'rm. I bet there are several extraneous and borrowable laptops in the family. Time to answer the calls from relatives saying, "What can we do for you?" with "Well, now that you mention it..."

Now, to the couch.

Well, you won't be borrowing my laptop, as she is an ex-laptop. This is pretty distressing, and will require lots of doing things that I don't quite know how to do. Like figuring out who to talk to to see about retrieving information from it, and choosing a new computer, which I can ill afford.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jeez, JZ. Three weeks? A laptop is definitely needed. Also, insent shortly.
