Robin, congrats on suddenly being married! The card from your nephew is great! Squids are always big fun, of course.
JZ, you're so brave! I would've fainted twelve times from all those needles... So glad you and baby Halloweenie are all right and back home.
Strength to Calli and family.
Tom Scola, ouch! Kidney stones are awful. I was going to say something about this trouble passing quickly, but maybe that would be inappropriate...
vw, sounds like you're settling in to your new place and making it your own! Hope the couch finds a new home soon. Sorry about the headache - maybe try magnesium? That sounds like the kind of sick headache my sister used to get. Magnesium helped her.
Lots going on around here lately.
Oh, vw, that sounds awful. I'm so sorry.
JZ, good job with the going home and the lying down and stuff.
Man, typing is a bitch. Yet, I still do it.
I am very happy JZ is home.
I am less happy that my computer and camera do not seem to be speaking to each other. I didn't even know they had a fight.
They speak - weirdly they named all pictures - beth's new hair - which they are not.....
From the "Gosh, hard to believe" department, from Slashdot:
ABC News is reporting that a supposed amateur video posted to YouTube.com may have actually been designed and posted by a Republican public relations firm called DCI.
here is the story of our brand new baby ( ha ) bookcase

skipping over 1000 posts to say how happy I am that JZ and the Hallowe'enie are doing well. What a scare. Thanks for posting the good news David.
Yay for going home from hospital, JZ!
Yay for Robin getting married, and Happy b-day!
~ma for Tom Scola.
I napped earlier and had a dream that Andi and I visited the SF bay area and fell in love with it.
We did: It just hasn't happened yet.
And I have tried to train Harvey to stay off bare skin, starting about the time he tried to climb my legs - kittens climbing one's jeans are cute but not if they are jeans shorts. The effort continued through many incidents of him jumping onto my lap while I was sitting on the toilet - bare skin has less traction than most forms of clothing, and having a human screaming and attempting to throw the cat off the lap does not help. Any road, it is good to hear that there has been some successs with the training process.
Boo! She dropped the pie and a dog ate it.
I did not drop it-- the wind got it.
We are home, safe and sound...and exhausted. More later.
