Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm closing in on being finished with my annotated bibliography! YAY! And, I just got word that I can take a class at Salem State this fall, so DOUBLE YAY for a semester of not having to trek out to BC. Though, the fall is the nicest time to be out there. But, I'm happy to stay local for a bit.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

TMI Alert:

I have never been so happy to start my period. There was 0% chance of being pregnant so I wasn't stressing that it *would* come, I just really was annoyed waiting for it. Massive PMS for nearly 10 days and while I still feel as shit, at least now there is a bloody concrete reason and an end in sight. It's hard to be all Yay Woman Power when you just want to nap and puke.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Yay for GoingHome!JZ!

I'm about to head out for a study group with my stats friends. We're studying for our next regular test (tomorrow night) and our final (Wednesday night). Then it's all over. I CAN'T WAIT!

GF and I bought Nintendo DS Lites last night. We spent last night playing Super Mario Bros. and drinking lemon drops. It was great dorky fun.

Mostly lurking...

Splitting headache. Had to cancel plans. Upset dog. Couch didn't sell. Too big. Ha.

Someone please send something. God only knows what I need right now. Took a nap. Too early to go to bed. Need to walk the dog. Can hardly stand up. Blech.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yay! Lee is here and she brought an apple pie.

Boo! She dropped the pie and a dog ate it.

We have Lee! And Emily and Juliana by 3ish.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, eat the dog then! Turn about is fair play, right? So glad to hear JZ is home and doing well. I'm only sorry I'm not in the SF area to help pamper her. (Not with diapers, silly, with TLC.)

ION, I had a very nice day with teh daughter. We checked out a Unitarian church, went for a beer and Japanese food after, then to Target to buy her a vacuum cleaner. Good day.

Art Crawl!!!

Woo hoo for JZ being at home again!

Weather here in northern IL is perfect. Sure, we had some rain earlier in the day but it's been sunny, 80ish and not humid the rest of the day.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We got the BEST wedding card handmade by our 9-year-old nephew. It's a giant squid and it reads "Have fun with your marriage!" Really, what says congratulations like a giant squid?
