Shit's all sorts of different now.

Sleeping while hooked up to baby monitors with IV shunts in the back of your hands is apparently not the paradise of dreamland they advertised.

When she tries after a shot of Demerol and an epidural, I promise it'll be great.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry your having to have so much done on your car, sj, but I'm glad at least some of it is covered.

We're off to the Renaissance Faire in a bit -- the one in Sterling, New York.

How fun! That's right near IBM's, um, something. Place where they do emergency recovery. Big building that you can't get into unless your a client. What I'm trying to say is, I've heard of it.

Typing before coffee, sorry. Brain doesn't work so good.

Poor JZ, what a rough day. i'm not even a little bit needle phobicand that sounds like a lot of needles, and that on top of fasting and worrying? That's a lot to take. It sounds like you aren't heading into a post-crisis crash, Hec, and that's rather a relief. Boredom sounds pretty good right now. Maybe TNT willbe entertaining...

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hate hospitals. I hope JZ is paroled as soon as possible and everything goes smoothly from now on.

I'm afraid I do have an Alien-like vision of Halloweenie kicking and thinking, "One more good kick and I'll be out of here."

What is even happening?

Stop bleeding~ma. Hospitals are not relaxing places. I hope JZ can be at home resting soon.

They're not relaxing, and they're not a place where you get a lot of sleep, but they are excellent at keeping you off your feet, which can be a little harder to do at home. A run to the bathroom turns into I'm just going to get a little snack; what's in the fridge turns into This is all so disorganized, another couple of minutes won't hurt, while I straighten it out turns into Oh no! What's growing in that bowl turns into Shoot, I've been on my feet for 45 minutes. I hope Hec doesn't catch me.

Thrive to spite them

I hope JZ gets to go home soon. I keep praying for Halloweenie to stay put and strength for JZ through all of this, including the needle phobia.

Thrive to spite them

Deena, Beverly thanks for the ideas. I did some of that last year, but I did remember something Mom said that she wanted. And I went to the Farmer's Market and got her some flowers. She's not having a very good birthday weekend. Yesterday she had to go to the doctor because her cat scratched her eyelid (at the corner of her eye). She was asleep at the time but she thinks Vien was trying to jump onto the night stand and lost his footing so his back foot slid into her eye.

Then today at Lowe's she fell down and hurt her knee and leg and is starting to bruise and she's sore. I'm taking the flowers to her in a little while.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Askye's mom}}

JZ remains in my thoughts and prayers. I know the hospital is so very boring, but What Cindy Said about the enforced rest. I understand the needle phobia too well. I had both my boys natural because my fear of an IV was worse than my pain fear. Yeah I know, insane troll logic there.

Still wishing much peace and strength to Calli and family.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm rather fond of my car too sj. Good news on the transmission. I hope that you end up minimally out of pocket on this mess.

Ugh. I am suffering from teenage son this morning afternoon. I am trying to transition him from staying up all night and sleeping well into the afternoon to having to get up at 6am for the 7am bus in 10 days. He is totally miserable with me. If his mood doesn't improve very soon he will be on a school sleep schedule all next summer. Wanna smack him. He should appreciate my control.

move out and draw fire

{{{Calli}}} Strength to you.

ZMayhems, strength to you guys as well. That's terrifically scary, but I'm so glad JZ went directly to the ER and that things look like they are settling down.

Liberal doses of freshly-picked, organic ~ma for sj and askye (and mother) and all the Bitches at sea.
